Terry Hazlett's Vinyl Countdown
Noon - 2pm | Sundays on WJPA!

Followed by "Cruisin' 60's" until 6pm!

This Sunday on WJPA's Vinyl Countdown, it's back to May 29, 1972 when the top 40 boasted five family acts, including the Carpenters, Isley Brothers, Staple Singers, Jackson Five and Sonny And Cher. The chart was also chock full of remakes of '50s tunes, as well as Joe Tex's biggest hit of his long career. And new to the top 40 was a singer signed to the Apple label primarily because he and Ringo Starr both were fascinated, not with music, but rather with UFOs. You'll hear his hit, and all of the hits of May 29, 1972 this Sunday at noon on WJPA.

The Vinyl Countdown is presented by Guitar Gallery, Monongahela Valley Hospital, Slovenian Savings Loan and Tom and Amy’s Skyliners dinner dance show
