JEFFERSON HILLS, Pa. — (WPXI) – A man is dead and two other people are in a hospital after a triple shooting in Jefferson Hills. Allegheny County dispatchers say police officers, firefighters and medics were called to Siler Drive and Ridge Road at 4:13 p.m. on Sunday. Allegheny County Police said two men and a woman were shot. One of the men died. The other man and the woman are currently listed in critical condition. Officials say the shooting came after an altercation between two families. One of the families lived on Siler Drive and the argument took place in their front yard and escalated to gunfire. Police tell our news partners at Channel 11 the two families knew one another. They were not neighbors. Investigators would not say what may have started the fight. Police are not labeling anyone as a suspect at the moment. They’ll be consulting with the county district attorney to determine who, if anyone, will face charges.
