OHIOVILLE, Pa. — (WPXI) – A devastating fire in Ohioville Borough, Beaver County Monday night gutted a home and claimed a life. “It was coming out the front window, the front door, the side and the rear window, and the rear door in the back where the kitchen is,” said Chief Clarence Dawson with the Ohioville Volunteer Fire Department. According to Dawson, two people were in the Ridgemont Drive home when flames broke out around 5:15 p.m. A woman was able to escape, but her father was not. Firefighters found his body “in the hallway from the living room into the back bedroom,” Dawson said. The man’s name has not been released. It’s still unclear what caused the fire and where in the home it started.
