A man was injured in a house fire Monday morning in Fallowfield Township. Washington County 9-1-1 dispatchers say the blaze broke out around 8:30 a.m. along Smith Street. The man was initially trapped inside. He was transported to a Pittsburgh hospital by ambulance after it was determined that air medical helicopters could not fly because of the weather. There is no word on the identity or condition of the man nor the cause of the fire.
