EVERSON, Pa. – (WPXI) – At least one person was injured in a crash involving a train and vehicle in Fayette County on Monday morning. First responders were called to the area of Jones Street in Everson, a 911 dispatcher told our news partners at Channel 11. A person in the vehicle was injured and being treated at the scene. The dispatcher did not know the extent of the victim’s injuries or if they were taken to the hospital.The crash happened around 5:50 a.m. Officials say the train was carrying sand and pipes. A Channel 11 photographer captured video of what appears to be a pickup truck with front-end damage being towed from the scene, which was cleared by 7:30 a.m.
