A woman is dead and a firefighter is recovering following a house fire Friday morning in Elrama. The woman has been identified as Sabrina Boyle, who was 23 weeks pregnant. The fire broke out around 5 a.m. in the 100-block of Fairview Street. According to our news partners at WPXI, the firefighter suffered burn injuries from trying to rescue the woman but since has been released from the hospital. Three other people were able to get out of the home safely. The State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fatal fire.
