2 Killed & Suspect Dead In Minneapolis Shooting

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — A shooting at a downtown Minneapolis apartment building has left three people dead, including the suspect, and five others wounded. Authorities say those wounded in the gunfire include two Minneapolis police officers, both in stable condition. A 911 call about shots fired came in just after 4:30 p.m. Monday. Officers quickly entered the building and found victims. Interim Police Chief Bill Peterson has praised the officers’ courage in confronting the dangerous situation. The suspect was known to authorities before the shooting. The FBI is assisting local law enforcement.
