California Man Faces Trial In Attempted Stabbing

A California Borough man who tried to stab his neighbor will face trial. Donte Valentino, 32 faces felony attempted homicide and aggravated assault charges among others for the attempted stabbing of his neighbor. Victim testimony from Thomas Dubreucq stated that Valentino was arguing with a neighbor. Valentino left and returned with a butcher’s knife and was waiving it aimlessly. Dubreucq asked Valentino, who he considered a friend, if everything was alright. Valentino then attacked Dubreucq through a screen door stabbing at his torso. A neighbor broke up the altercation and Valentino returned to his apartment until police were able to apprehend him. All six charges levied against Valentino were held for court. Valentino is free on $25,000 bail.
