LOS ANGELES (AP) – Some of the stars associated with Star Trek are mourning the loss of one of their own. Rene Auberjonois (ruh-NAY’ oh-BAYR’-zhan-wah) was known for his work in the “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine” series. And after news of his death spread, Trek actors like George Takei and William Shatner paid tribute to him online. Auberjonois is also remembered for his work on the TV show “Benson” and for playing the priest in the movie version of “M.A.S.H.” Rene Auberjonois was 79. He had metastatic lung cancer.
