Beau Street Open – For Now

Beau Street in downtown Washington was shutdown in early April so crews could work on demolishing the old Courthouse Square Building to ready the site for construction of a new Public Safety Building.  Demolition work has wrapped up and Beau Street re-opened on Friday.  We’ve reached out to county officials for details, but it appears the reopening is temporary and the street will likely close again (no timeline was given) when construction starts again.
