The Washington County District Attorney’s office is investigating after the body of a McMurray teen was found overnight in California Borough. The Washington County Coroners office says California Borough Police found Karoline Heintz inside a parked vehicle near the California Library in the 100-block of Wood Street. A cause and manner of death are pending investigation. According to the coroner, Heintz had been with her family earlier in the day and was to return to campus housing at Pennsylvania-Western University California. After she failed to check in with family members they tracked the location of her vehicle to Wood Street in California and contacted 911 just after midnight. State Police are also investigating.
