Bomb Squad Called To Fayette County Home

SOUTH CONNELLSVILLE, Pa. — The bomb squad responded to an item found at a Fayette County home on Sunday.  A Fayette County 911 supervisor tells our news partners at WPXI that first responders were initially called to the 1900 block of Fourth Street in South Connellsville at 1:20 p.m.  People at the home found what they believed to be a mortar, the supervisor confirms.  The bomb squad was requested “as a precaution.”  At this time, no other information is available.
