Authorities in Fayette County say a house fire in Brownsville was likely accidental. Jordan Sealy is the fire chief for the Brownsville Volunteer Fire Department, Company #1, and he says the blaze broke out sometime around one o’clock Friday afternoon in a home on Lynn Road. Sealy says when firefighters arrived on the scene, all of the occupants were out of the house. He says, though, there were two civilians transported to Uniontown Hospital along with a firefighter who developed some medical issues. Sealy says he is expected to be okay. Sealy says there was a pretty good working fire on the second floor but they brought it under control quickly. Sealy says the Red Cross is helping two adults and six children who were displaced by the fire.
