Castle Shannon Man Pleads To Drug Charges

A Castle Shannon man pleaded guilty to a federal charge of possession with intent to deliver. Michael Hunsinger, 58 pleaded guilty to that single count where he intended to distribute more than 50 grams of methamphetamine and a quantity of cocaine. Castle Shannon Police executed a state court search warrant on Hunsinger’s home. Officers seized large quantities of methamphetamine and cocaine from his car. They found smaller quantities in his home with digital scales and $1,046 in cash. Hunsinger admitted to officers that he intended to distribute the drugs. Hunsinger will be sentenced on April 10. He could receive a prison sentence of 5-40 years, a $5,000 fine or both.
