A teen who cooperated with prosecutors in landing convictions against two co-defendants in the shooting death of a Washington woman has had all charges against him dropped. According to the Observer-Reporter, charges were dropped against 18 year old Tyriq Moss Tuesday afternoon. He was initially charged with homicide, attempted homicide and other charges in the 2022 drive-by shooting that killed 58 year old Kristen Barfield outside her Ridge Avenue home. Moss testified against Brandon Allen who was convicted of attempted homicide, aggravated assault and other charges following a jury trial. He was also to testify against Juan Worthey III but he entered a guilty plea to third-detree murder prior to his trial. Washington County Deputy District Attorney John Friedman say they agreed to drop the case against Moss since he cooperated with the prosecution and was not involved in the shooting.
