Cocaine Seized In Canton Twp Search Warrant

A months-long investigation led to a search warrant being served at a home in Canton Township Friday. Washington County District Attorney Jason Walsh says the warrant was served at a residence in the 19-hundred block of Jefferson Avenue. The search was the result of an investigation conducted by detectives of the Washington County District Attorney’s Drug Task Force. It was executed by Washington Regional SWAT and State Police. Walsh says appoximately one-ounce of cocaine and paraphernalia associated with the distribution of cocaine. The target of the investigation was 41 year old Joshua Roberts. He was arrested on outstanding warrants and placed in the Washington County Jail. Walsh says additional narcotics related charges are pending in connection with this investigation.
