There is a new slate of County Commissioners to take over in 2024. This will be the first Board of Commissioners that will not have Diana Irey-Vaughan in 28 years. The new board will consist of incumbent Republican Nick Sherman who garnered the most votes with 27,731. Incumbent Democrat Larry Maggi returns with the second most votes at 25,913. Replacing Irey-Vaughan will be Republican Electra Janis. She gathered 23,313 votes. Democrat Cindy Fisher finished in fourth place with 22,253 votes.
