FALLOWFIELD TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Fallowfield Fire crews responded to a vehicle accident on Interstate 70 Saturday during the severe weather and were almost involved in their own accident. Officials say early warning vehicles were established ahead of the crash scene, but a large and out-of-control vehicle was reportedly moving at a high rate of speed and could not slow down in time. That vehicle had to swerve into the next lane to narrowly avoid hitting crews from Fallowfield.
