MONONGAHELA, Pa. — Multiple fire departments were dispatched to the 500 block of Ridge Avenue in the City of Monongahela for an overnight house fire. According to reports, the blaze may have originated in the basement and took crews nearly two hours to get under control. Reports say a firefighter became disoriented during the incident and was checked by EMS but was not injured. The fire tore through the house from the basement and reached the first and second floors. Mon City Fire Crews were joined by Donora, Fallowfield, Gallatin Sunnyside, Carroll Township, and Valley Inn Fire Departments on scene. There is no word on the cause of the fire or any injuries.
