A 93 year old man is dead following a fire at his home along Van Voorhis Lane in Carroll Township Thursday morning. The Washington County Coroners office says John Yevcinez was pronounced dead at the home just before 7 a.m. A cause and manner of death are pending. A passing motorist reported the fire to Washington County 9-1-1 just after 5 a.m. Dispatchers say five fire departments were called to the scene. There is no word on the cause of the fire at this time. The State Police Fire Marshal and Carroll Township Police are investigating. (Photo: WPXI)
