WASHINGTON, Pa. – Crews responded to a multi-vehicle accident with injuries and entrapment reported near the North Franklin and South Franklin border Saturday morning. The crash occurred on Park Avenue near the intersection with Vankirk Road just before 11:30 a.m. According to 911 officials, a total of 6 victims were involved with the accident. An all-call was requested by first responders, as medical and emergency crews from around the area arrived to help with the rescue. Reports say the officials on scene requested two medical helicopters to the area, where they reportedly used the nearby Washington County Airport as the airlift site.
