700+ Customers Affected By Water Main Break

Crews from Pennsylvania American Water Company are on the scene of a water main break in the 16-hundred block of Park Avenue.  An official with the company tells WJPA News the break involved a 12-inch main and more than 700 customers are without service.   Those customers have been told that repairs could take six to eight hours to complete.  The roadway is still open but motorists are being asked to use caution traveling through the work zone. The break forced the Trinity School district to switch to remote instruction for  Intermediate School and Middle School students.  All other students reported  to school as usual.
