State Police Washington are investigating a shooting late Sunday night In East Bethlehem Township. Few details are available, but Troopers say an unidentified 26 year old man went to a home along Ziskand Road just after 10 p.m. According to police, the man’s former girlfriend lived at the home and he attempted to gain entry through a locked screen door. The unidentified home owner advised him to leave. The man, however, continued to break the screen door and attempt to make entry. He was then shot by the resident one time in the torso. He was flown from the scene by medical helicopter. No other information is being released at this time.
