GREENBELT, Md. (AP) — Lawyers for the Trump administration say they are unable to provide information on the location and status of a Maryland man who was mistakenly deported to a notorious prison in El Salvador. The attorneys told U.S. District Court Judge Paula Xinis on Friday that they haven’t had enough time to review a ruling from the U.S. Supreme Court the day before. The Supreme Court had directed the administration to return Kilmar Abrego Garcia to the U.S. The judge said at a hearing on Friday that it was “extremely troubling” that the Trump administration couldn’t provide more details about Abrego Garcia or plans for his return.
