A former long-time Washington County Jury Commissioner has died. Eighty-year-old Judy Fisher, a familiar face in local politics died Early Friday morning at her East Washington home. Washington County Coroner Tim Warco says her death appeared to be from natural causes, although East Washington Borough Police are investigating. Warco says he is trying to locate members of her family and is asking anyone with information to contact the Coroner’s Office at 724-228-6785. Fisher has had a long history of political aspirations. She ran unsuccessfully for Washington County Commissioner, Prothonotary and most recently, Register of Wills.
