LOS ANGELES (AP) – Leslie Jordan, the Emmy-winning actor whose Southern drawl and versatility made him a comedy and drama standout on TV series like “Will & Grace” and “American Horror Story,” has died. He was 67. While the official cause of death has not been released, the Los Angeles Police Department reported that a driver, likely suffering a medical emergency, drove a car into a wall at the intersection of Cahuenga Boulevard and Romaine Street around 9:45 a.m. Monday. The Los Angeles Times confirmed the driver’s identity as Jordan. The Tennessee native, who won an on outstanding guest actor Emmy in 2005 for “Will & Grace,” – and earned an unexpected new following last year – when he spent time during the pandemic lockdown near family in his hometown.
