The 2026 Primary Election has delivered an upset in the 50th District of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. Ben Humble, a Waynesburg businessman, has defeated incumbent Representative Bud Cook. Unofficial results show that Humble defeated Cook by 600 votes. The Greene County results show that Humble beat Cook by nearly 1100 votes and that margin of difference was just too much for Cook to make up in the small segment of Washington covered by the 50th District. Humble will face Democrat Lois Bower-Bjornson in the General Election in November.
