Life Flight Called To I-70 Accident

WASHINGTON, Pa. — Life Flight was needed after a two vehicle accident in Canton Township Thursday night. Washington County 911 says a two-vehicle accident had traffic stopped just before 10:00 p.m. on Interstate 70 eastbound just before the Jessop Place exit. Reports say one helicopter was deployed to the scene, while a second air unit was dispatched to the Washington Hospital to take a patient to a Pittsburgh facility. There is no word on the identities of the individuals involved, or what caused the accident. State Police led the investigation on scene.
