WASHINGTON, Pa. – It was a night for most of the incumbents in Western Pennsylvania, as many representatives on the local and state level held on to their positions. Republican Guy Reschenthaler looks to have secured another term over democratic challenger Bill Marx in the 14th Congressional District. Meanwhile, Devlin Robinson is projected to beat Democrat Pam Iovino for the PA Senate 37th District. Republican Tom O’Neal has sealed the win for another term as the 48th District Representative over former Washington County Commissioner Harlan Shober. Republican Bud Cook took another big win in the Mon Valley, beating Randy Barli for the 49th District. In the 46th District, Republican Jason Ortitay has won another term, beating familiar challenger Byron Timmins. Republican Josh Kail also took the 15th District once again, this time edging out Bob Williams. In races too close to call. Democratic incumbent Pam Snyder of the 50th District trails Larry Yost into the morning, meanwhile in the 39th District, GOP incumbent Mike Puskaric and Sara Summer Oliphant are very close. Both of those races are waiting on large amounts of mail-in ballots to be processed in the coming days.
