Major Russian Attack Kills 4, Injures 27

KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — Ukrainian authorities say a massive Russian attack on Kyiv killed four people and injured at least 27 others. The assault, which occurred early Friday, involved at least 430 drones and 18 missiles. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says the attack targeted Kyiv and caused significant damage, including to the Azerbaijan Embassy. Fires and debris have affected multiple districts, damaging residential buildings, educational facilities, and medical centers. City authorities warn of possible power and water outages. The strike comes as the EU has warned for Ukraine to address corruption while giving assurances that aid will continue.
