PITTSBURGH —(WPXI)- A man is dead after he was hit by a train in Pittsburgh’s South Side. Allegheny County dispatchers say emergency crews received the call at 6:21 p.m. Pittsburgh Police say the man was hit under the bridge where South 12th Street meets Brosville Street. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The man’s identity will not be released until his family is notified. Violent Crime Unit detectives and CSX police are investigating.
