A man living in a Peters Township apartment who created an hours long SWAT standoff pleaded guilty in court on Tuesday. Brandon Osborne, 31 who currently claims to be homeless, pleaded guilty to felony strangulation and misdemeanor criminal mischief charges. The plea deal will see Osborne serve one year minus one day to two years minus two days in the Washington County Correctional Facility. Once released, he will serve six-months’ probation. In addition to his jail time, Osborne will pay $2000 restitution to the victim. Osborne’s victim contacted police about a domestic violence situation in November. The victim told police Osborne choked them and that firearms were in the apartment where they lived. That caused an hours long standoff with the SWAT team until police realized Osborne fled the scene before they arrived. After Osborne was sentenced he addressed the judge and apologized to the court and the victim in the courtroom for his actions that led to this event.  (Photo:  WPXI)
