McMurray Woman Killed In Car Crash

A McMurray woman was killed in a car crash Sunday afternoon just after twelve o’clock in Peters Township.  Washington County Coroner, Tim Warco, tells WJPA News that 77-Year old Sandra Zuraw was the driver and sole occupant of a vehicle traveling north on Washington Road when she somehow lost control of the vehicle and and crashed near 4007 Washington Road.  There were no other vehicles involved.  Police, who are investigating the crash, say she died in the emergency department at Canonsburg Hospital.  An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.  Warco, meanwhile, says his office is investigating it as a probable medical event.
