JERUSALEM (AP) — The Middle East is bracing for a potential return to all-out war as concerns grow over possible U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran. An Iranian delegation had left Qatar after days of discussions in an effort to reach a deal, but says messaging with the U.S. continues. Tehran is waiting for a U.S. response to a proposal involving the Strait of Hormuz. On Sunday, President Donald Trump said he had a “very good” call with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu about Iran. There are fears that Netanyahu could be pushing for new strikes against Iran in an effort to stay in power in an emergency government during renewed war.
