ROBINSON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A man is dead after a motorcycle crash in on Route 22 Sunday afternoon. According to PennDOT, the crash happened in the eastbound lanes between the Bavington exit and the McDonald Midway exit in Robinson Township. Emergency crews said the call came in at around 3:45 p.m. The Washington County coroner’s office says Martin Cowden, 52, of Midway, lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into a guard rail. All eastbound lanes in the area were closed but reopened at around 7:50 p.m. Fort Cherry medics and the Midway Fire Department also helped respond to the scene. State Police continue to investigate.
