One Injured After Dunlevy House Fire

DUNLEVY, Pa. — One person was injured after a house fire Friday night in Dunlevy. According to officials, the blaze broke out with entrapment just before 10:00 p.m. along Church Street. Fire crews were able to evacuate the house, and the patient was flown to an area hospital via STAT MedEvac. Crews worked defensively for about six hours to control the fire due to severe hoarding conditions in the home. Charleroi Fire Department was assisted by Roscoe, Stockdale, Fallowfield, Monessen, Bentleyville, Belle Vernon, Rostraver West Newton EMS and Murrysville Medic One Rehab Unit. The RESA and Charleroi Regional Police were also on scene along with the Dunlevy Road Crew. The State Fire Marshal was called to the scene and the incident is under further investigation.
