Multi-vehicle Crash Ties Up Interstate 70

A multi-vehicle accident temporarily closed Interstate 70 around 9:30 a.m. Friday. The accident occurred near mile marker four in the westbound lanes of the highway. According to Washington County 9-1-1 dispatchers, one person was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital and two others were evaluated at the scene. There is no word on identities or conditions of the victims. The road was reopened about 90 minutes later.
