North Franklin Township Man Heading To State Prison

A North Franklin Township man was sentenced Tuesday on his conviction for sexual abuse of children, possession of child pornography and criminal use of a communications device. William Dickey, 41 was sentenced to 30 to 60 months in a state prison. A jury convicted him in March for possession of more than 2000 pictures and videos of child pornography. Dickey asked for leniency in his sentencing during a brief allocution statement. During sentencing the judge noted a distinct lack of remorse from Dickey regarding his actions. As part of his sentence Dickey will need to register as a tier 1 sex offender for the next 15 years
