One Dead After Crash On West End Bridge

PITTSBURGH (WPXI) — The West End Bridge was closed in both directions Saturday night after a fatal motorcycle crash. According to Pittsburgh Public Safety, first responders arrived on scene at around 7:30 p.m. Responders located the motorcyclist down on the street. He was pronounced dead at the scene. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Two other vehicles are said to be involved in the collision. No other injuries have been reported. There is no word on the identity of the motorcyclist. The Collision Investigation Unit is investigating to determine the cause.
