One Killed In Wrong-Way Crash On Parkway

CHURCHILL, Pa. (WPXI) — One person was killed and two others were injured in a Saturday crash on Interstate 376 East. According to Pennsylvania State Police, the accident happened around 2:33 a.m. on the Parkway near mile marker 79.8. A 2019 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling westbound in the eastbound lane and collided with a 2016 Honda HR-V, which spun and overturned, police said. The passenger in the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Honda and the Chevrolet were taken to area hospitals for their injuries. A third car involved in the crash sustained minor damage and was able to be driven away from the scene. That driver was uninjured. The investigation is ongoing.
