The dispute is now before state Judge Arthur Engoron. He previously sided with James on other matters relating to the probe, including making Eric Trump testify after his lawyers abruptly canceled a scheduled deposition.

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Joe Biden is spending part of his 81st birthday observing the White House tradition of pardoning Thanksgiving turkeys. The gobblers receiving executive clemency at a ceremony Monday are named Liberty and Bell. The 20-week-old, 42-pound birds were hatched and bred in Willmar, Minnesota, by the Jennie-O turkey company for the occasion. The turkey pardon ceremony marks the unofficial start of the holiday season in Washington and will happen on an especially busy day for the White House. HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — Gov. Tom Wolf will wrap up eight years in office next month, having steered Pennsylvania through unpredictable times when the Democrat made life-and-death decisions in the ravaging COVID-19 pandemic and managed the battleground state’s presidential election amid unprecedented Republican efforts to overturn it. Wolf, 74, leaves office with positive approval ratings from leading in-state polls and his endorsed successor, Attorney General Josh Shapiro, succeeding him — marking the first time since 1966 that a Pennsylvania governor has been succeeded by a member of the same political party. Wolf’s second term saw monumental challenges, beyond what many — if not every — governor before him had faced: a pandemic that transformed society, wiped out much of his second-term agenda and drew in the efforts of every agency under his command. He doesn’t hold any grudges and is largely satisfied with his achievements, although he acknowledges regret that he couldn’t get some initiatives through a Republican-controlled Legislature. Unemployment was at an all-time low in November, the treasury is stuffed with cash and Wolf points to a legacy of dedicating billions more dollars to public schools plagued by funding disparities. Cook sent a certified letter making the request. He claims Vaughn and Sherman; Endorsed his primary challenger Tony Bottino, Both are involved in his current ‘Right to Know’ request and ongoing court case involving the Local Share Account and its financial records, and Vaughn’s previous involvement in overseeing the election office operations during the 2018 general election when several absentee ballots were misplaced. Irey-Vaughn tells WJPA news that she turned the matter over to the County Solicitor and neither she nor Sherman will recuse themselves. The Washington County Commissioners are all election board members and provide assistance during elections. Irey-Vaughn, however, says commissioner’s never handle ballots.
