PennDot Plans Signal Upgrades On Rt. 19

Uniontown, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s (PennDOT’s) Engineering District 12, and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), invites the public to participate in a Virtual Plans Display to review and provide feedback on the Route 19 Corridor Signal Upgrade Project in North and South Strabane townships, Washington County. This project involves upgrading traffic signal equipment, optimizing signal timings and providing American with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant features at 11 intersections encompassing approximately 3.5 miles of Route 19, beginning at Route 1045 (Oak Springs Road/Raymond Boulevard) and ending at Meadowbrook Drive. The purpose of this Virtual Plans Display is to provide information on the Route 19 Corridor Signal Upgrade Project covering the improvements, impacts, traffic control, and anticipated schedule. To participate in the Virtual Plans Display visit PennDOT’s District 12 website under the Projects Near You and select Route 19 Corridor Signal Upgrade Project. The materials will be on the website for the duration of the project. The public comment period is May 1 through May 15.
