WCTPA Announces Second Round Of Tourism Grants

The Washington County Tourism Promotion Agency announced on Thursday, $58,850 in new tourism investments, bringing the agency’s 2022 grant total to $249,850.  Jeff Kotula, President of the WCTPA,says the grants will be awarded to public and private organizations for marketing projects in the 2022 tourism season.  Historical and entertainment organizations such as Aquatorium Innovations, Meadowcroft Rockshelter and Historic Village, Monongahela Main Street Program, National Duncan Glass Society, Washington County Historical Society and others will be receiving grants to promote their events.  Kotula says this is the second round of a three-round award cycle this year.  He says the third round will likely be announced in June.
