The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection have announced funding for 16 environmental restoration projects on abandoned mine lands. A reclamation design will be completed for a 26-mile abandoned mine land site in Cecil Township. Through this project, the site will be developed for commercial use. This project will provide new jobs, and the awards total 7.8 million dollars.
