State police say a Canonsburg man was driving under the influence when he drove the wrong way and crashed into a tractor-trailer on Interstate 279 in March. Jacob Alauzen, 27, was traveling north in the southbound lanes in Ohio Township near the Camp Horne Road Exit around 2:30 a.m. on March 24, according to a state police report. His vehicle hit a tractor-trailer head-on, then went into the median. No one was injured. In addition to DUI and other traffic violations, Alauzen is charged with reckless driving and careless driving.
