Police Investigate Death Of 4-Year Old

The death of a 4-year old boy is under investigation. The Washington County Coroner’s office says Liam Vanderlee of Eighty Four was found unresponsive Saturday afternoon in an outdoor swimming pool in Washington Township, Fayette County.  The boy was attending a birthday party at the home.  He was transported to Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital where he was pronounced dead just before 7 p.m. The Coroner’s office says a cause and manner of death are pending. Washington Township Police are investigating.
