UNIONTOWN, Pa. — (WPXI) – A Uniontown police officer and another person were injured in a crash in Fayette County Sunday evening, according to our partners at Channel 11. 911 dispatchers said the crash happened along East Fayette Street at 5:45 p.m. The officer was reportedly flown to a hospital in Morgantown, West Virgina. Police say a bystander helped pull the officer from his cruiser when it caught fire. The other person injured in the crash was taken to a hospital by ambulance, 911 dispatchers confirm.
