Emergency crews were called to the Popeye’s Restaurant on Murtland Avenue in South Strabane Township around 3:45 Friday afternoon, after the Popeye’s sign fell on a vehicle. Washington County 911 tells WJPA that no one was injured when the entire sign fell on a car that was sitting in the drive-through lane. There’s been no word on what caused the sign to fall. The female driver was not injured.
