SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) – Prosecutors are seeking to recharge Alec Baldwin with involuntary manslaughter in the fatal shooting of a cinematographer on the set of the movie “Rust” in 2021 outside Santa Fe, New Mexico. Authorities confirm they will bring the case before a grand jury next month after a new analysis of the gun involved. Two years ago, Baldwin was pointing a gun at cinematographer Halyna Hutchins during a rehearsal when it when off. Hutchins was killed and director Joel Souza was wounded. Baldwin had been charged with involuntary manslaughter, but the charge was dismissed in April. (Photo: AP)
