The second person charged in a July 2023 driveby shooting in Canonsburg has entered a guilty plea. Jessica Chatman-Carroll, 35 of Houston, pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor reckless endangerment charge. Chatman-Carroll received a two year probation sentence in exchange for the guity plea. She faced conspiracy to commit homicide and aggravated assault charges that were dropped. She was accused of driving the vehicle that carried Dillon Britt and Brett Carroll as they allegedly fired shots into a home in East End Canonsburg. Earlier this month, Brett Carroll, 31 of Washington, pleaded guilty to reckless endangerment. He had a previous probationary sentence revoked and he was resentenced to 18 months to 4 years in prison on both cases. He will then serve five years probation. Dillon Britt is still facing attempted homicide and other charges relating to the incident. He is scheduled for a plea court hearing on January 25th.
